Non-profit organizations seeking a donation will be required to submit a request in writing to the Unit Treasurer no later than March 15th. Emphasis will be placed on projects which are truly herbal related and educational, as per our mission statement.
Secondly, organizations that did not receive money from our unit the previous year will be given priority, with the exception of The National Herb Garden, HSA.
We will then consider more general type gardens with some herbs, children's gardens with herbs, etc., but all must have some herbal component.
All donation requests should state specifically how the money is to be used. Again, emphasis on the project being herb related.
PHHS will consider only donation requests from non-profit organizations where the project is located in the Pennsylvania counties where our members reside. This includes Berks, Montgomery, Chester, York, Schuylkill, Lancaster, Columbia, Lehigh and Lebanon counties.
To submit a request, include the name of the organization or group along with a contact name, address, phone number and any information to assist us in our decision.

Donation requests are considered by the Finance Committee and reviewed for approval at our Annual Meeting in April of each year.
