Non-Profit Donations

In the spring of each year, the Pennsylvania Heartland Herb Society seeks opportunities to provide monetary donations to local non-profit organizations who are dedicated to providing programs and learning opportunities in sync with our mission statement.

Eligible organizations must demonstrate the following:

  • as per our mission statement, dedication to promoting the knowledge, use and delight of herbs through

    • educational programs

    • research and sharing

    • experiential learning

  • non-profit organization status

  • financial need

  • location must be in the following Pennsylvania counties: Berks, Montgomery, Chester, York, Schuylkill, Lancaster, Columbia, Lehigh and Lebanon

All donation requests should state specifically the plan, objective and financial justification for the donation request.

To submit a request, include the name of the organization along with a contact name, address, phone number and any information to assist us in our decision.

Donation requests will be reviewed by the unit finance committee and considered for approval by the membership at the April meeting.
